The Fat Cats Initiative (FCI) is a not-for-profit and nonpartisan organization focused on bringing respect and trust back into politics. The organization seeks to spark a public value shift to create politicians that care about public good over their own financial gains. FCI has three main goals: (1) to inspire more devoted, selfless personalities to run for politics, (2) to reduce the power and influence that corporations and special interest groups have over politicians, and (3) to increase public respect and trust in politicians. FCI annually certifies politicians that sufficiently demonstrate that they have adhered to the Fat Cats Policy.
